Fun at Yoga

Beginners Yoga

The focus of this class is on the beginner. 

As beginners we can be so quick to judge ourselves and stop our progress even before we experience any benefit.  

Hosting a class for the beginner takes off the pressure.  We keep things simple while learning the key elements of Yoga, including breath work, mindfulness, compassion and a little lightheartedness.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga brings you through a slow series of soothing, resting postures.  Here you will release stress held within your body, relax the nervous system and revitalize your energy.

Restorative Yoga is deeply healing.  This practice improves sleep, concentration and our abilities to manage stressful, busy lives.

Community Yoga

Community Yoga is a once per month event and is our way of making Yoga accessible to the whole community. 

 

Open to all levels and only $5 per class, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional vinyasa flow, which is movement through Yoga postures with the rhythm of the breath.

Community Yoga is inspired by the traditional ancient practice of Yoga that was readily accessible to all people with minimal payment and incredible benefits to the mind, body and spirit.

Children's Yoga

Sarah Dionne, Certified Children's Yoga Teacher and seasoned play therapist, guides children ages 5 to 8 through an energetic, engaging series of postures tailored just for kids.

Along side the Yoga practice, Sarah offers kids delightful storytelling that teaches mindfulness, kindness and compassion, the essence of Yoga itself.
