Improving Mental Health and Building Community with Crochet
She realized that crochet is an excellent method to manage anxiety and certain types of OCD. It is a wonderfully calming activity, providing sensory soothing through the use of soft yarns and the quite sounds of hook against fiber.
Within class settings, the craft of crochet builds relationships and community, creates connections and builds confidence.
